Import your review history
Four ways to get your existing reviews into EchoPilot: the browser extension, a CSV file, Google Takeout, and a direct Business Profile connection (rolling out).

Your reviews are evidence. Several audit checks depend on them, including owner reply rate and response time on negative reviews. Imported reviews also get a drafted reply for you to approve. Most platforms have no "download my reviews" button, so pick one of four routes.

Compliance first. Only import reviews that are publicly visible or that belong to your own business. Respect each platform's terms and applicable privacy law (GDPR, CCPA and local equivalents). EchoPilot never bypasses logins, CAPTCHAs or paywalls. The extension reads only what is already on the page in front of you.
Google: connect your Business Profile
You can connect your profile today under Integrations. Review sync switches on once Google approves API access for EchoPilot. Until then, use the extension or a file. Checks that depend on owner data show "not assessable" rather than a guess.
The extension route
- Install the EchoPilot extension and connect it with an ep_ext_ key. The steps are under Integrations → Browser extension → How to use it.
- Open your business's listing on Google Maps. A search results page won't work, even if it shows reviews.
- Check that it's the right listing. Chains and common names produce near-duplicates, so compare the name, address and review count.
- Scroll until the reviews you want are loaded on the page.
- Click the EchoPilot button, then Scan & Import Reviews.
- Check them under Reviews. Re-scanning is safe because duplicates are skipped.
Replying from the extension
Approve a draft reply in EchoPilot. Then open your listing while signed in as the profile's manager, and click Fill reply in the extension's Queue tab. The text appears in Google's reply box. Read it and click Post yourself. EchoPilot never posts anything without your click.
Everything else: one CSV
Put reviews from any other source into one CSV file (up to 5 MB) and upload it under Reviews → Import from file:

Ratings are whole numbers from 1 to 5. Dates are YYYY-MM-DD. Platform is an uppercase source name. Leave unknown fields empty rather than guessing. If your columns are named differently, you can map them before importing.
Google Takeout (last resort)
- Go to takeout.google.com while signed in as the profile owner.
- Deselect all, then select only Google Business Profile, and export.
- Upload the downloaded file under Reviews → Import from file. EchoPilot detects the format.
Takeout exports can be incomplete or slow to arrive, so use the extension when you can.
Check before you rely on it
- The imported count roughly matches the review count shown on Google.
- Five random reviews match the originals for rating and date.
- The reviews landed in the right business, which matters if you manage several.
- Your oldest and newest review dates are noted as your starting point.
