About the Schema Markup Generator
Structured data is a block of JSON in a page that describes the thing the page is about in a vocabulary search engines and other machines share: schema.org. A LocalBusiness block states the name, address, phone and opening hours; an FAQPage block lists questions and answers; a Product block gives price and availability. The EchoPilot audit reads these blocks on the homepage and, under rule S7, reports whether a LocalBusiness or Organization type is present.
This generator produces JSON-LD, the format Google recommends, for seven common types: LocalBusiness, Organization, FAQPage, Article, Product, Event and BreadcrumbList. Fill the fields that apply; empty fields are left out of the output rather than emitted blank. The result is shown as a complete script tag, parsed as JSON before it is displayed so a stray quote in a field cannot produce an invalid block. Copy it into the head of the page, or into your CMS's custom code area, then open the Rich Results Test link to confirm Google reads it as intended. Everything runs in your browser; no field is sent to a server.
Describe only what is true and visible on the page. Structured data that contradicts the page, or that lists reviews and prices the page does not show, is ignored at best and can lead a search engine to disregard the site's markup. Keep one block per type per page, and update it when the facts change, an address or opening hours in particular. After adding it, the free score reads the homepage's blocks and reports S7 with the types it found.
Questions
Where does the script tag go?
Anywhere in the HTML, but the head is the convention. Most CMS platforms have a header code or custom code field per page; paste the whole script tag there.
Does structured data change how my page appears in search?
It can make a page eligible for richer result formats, such as FAQ dropdowns or product prices, when the search engine decides to show them. Eligibility is not a promise of display.
Can I put several types on one page?
Yes. Use one script tag per type or combine them in a @graph array. Keep each block about the same page; do not describe other pages.
Which LocalBusiness subtype should I use?
The generator emits LocalBusiness. If a more specific type fits, such as Restaurant, Dentist or Plumber, change the @type value in the output; the properties stay the same.
