The marketing audit for financial advisors

Every draft approved before it ships.

An advisory practice needs to be findable by name, reachable through a form that works, and reachable by email that does not land in spam. EchoPilot checks the brand-name search, the contact form, the email domain's SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, whether the firm uses its own domain for email, the positioning line across site and profiles, and how reviews are answered.

Every piece of content EchoPilot produces for an advisory practice is an approval-gated draft: posts and review replies are written from the audit's findings and wait until a person at the firm has read and approved them. EchoPilot makes no assessment of financial-promotion or supervisory rules; the firm's own review process applies to every draft before it is published.

After the first audit

A typical first 90 days

The memo lists at most eight actions, ordered gating first, then by severity. For a financial advisor business the first ones usually look like this; yours come from your own audit's failures.

  1. Set SPF, DKIM and DMARC on the firm's email domain and move any personal-mailbox addresses to the firm's domain.
  2. Fix or add the contact form, keep it to five required fields or fewer, and add a confirmation page.
  3. Align the one-line positioning across the site, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile.
  4. Write the buyer-question pages the audit looks for and route every social draft through the approval queue.

Each action in a real memo carries the rule ids behind it, concrete steps, an effort estimate and an owner: you, or EchoPilot drafting for your approval.

Questions from financial advisors

Who approves the drafts?

A person on your account, in the approval queue. Every draft waits there; nothing is published until it is approved, and the approval is recorded with the text as approved.

Does EchoPilot check whether content meets financial-promotion rules?

No. It checks marketing signals only. Whether a draft meets the rules that apply to your firm is for your own review process to decide before approval.

Why does the audit check email records?

Rule E5 checks SPF, DKIM and DMARC on the domain. Without them, mail from the firm is more likely to be filtered. Rule E6 checks that the business email uses the firm's own domain.

Does the audit connect to any client or account data?

No. It reads the public website, DNS records, the public Google Business Profile, public reviews and public social profiles.
